Install

Reaper doesn't need access to your media, regardless of which install you pick. It has no filesystem delete path. Only Sonarr and Radarr have a delete path. Everything Reaper keeps is just one small data folder.

Pick your install

  • Docker, just run docker compose up -d.
  • Unraid, find it in Community Applications.
  • Windows, use an installer or a portable zip.
  • macOS, drag the app into your Applications folder.
  • Snap, works on any Linux with snapd.

Follow First run afterwards.

What to back up

You'll find three files in the data folder, covered in Back this up: reaper.db, secret.key and secret.salt. The key and the salt are useless apart. Set that up before you arm anything.
